You may also return the registration form by fax or e-mail (as attached document) in order to get a priority treatment of your registration, but a reservation can only be guaranteed when the full payment for the course has been received by ACCORD.

If you choose to make payment by transfer, a copy of the bank transfer document must be attached to the registration form, and an extra 50 euros must be added for French bank charges (10 euros for EU citizens).

For students under 18 years old, the following documents must be sent with the registration form : parents or legal guardians authorisation to attend the course, details of people to contact in case of emergency, a copy of the insurance policy contracted for the length of the course, the signed parents or legal guardians authorisation for ACCORD staff to take all emergency measures such as hospitalisation with or without surgery under general anaesthetic.

2/Confirmation of registration

A confirmation of your registration together with an invoice will be sent to you by mail (and by fax or E-mail if it has been requested on the registration form).
3/Cancellation

In case of cancellation for medical reasons (a medical certificate must be sent to ACCORD Language School by recorded delivery) the full amount received by ACCORD Language School will be refunded if the student didn't start the program.
If the student has started the program, no refund will be possible.
4/Cancellation Conditions

If you cancel your stay over 4 weeks before your course is due to start, ACCORD will refund you 50% of the payment received minus 250€ in administration fees, 80€ in accommodation fees and 50€ in bank charges (10€ for EU nationals).

If you cancel your stay 3 or 4 weeks before your course is due to start (Monday for the course, Sunday if you have requested accommodation), ACCORD will refund you 40% of the payment received minus 250€ in administration fees, 80€ in accommodation fees and 50€ in bank charges (10€ for EU nationals).

If you cancel your stay 1 or 2 weeks before your course is due to start (Monday for the course, Sunday if you have requested accommodation), ACCORD will refund you 20% of the payment received minus 250€ in administration fees, 80€ in accommodation fees and 50€ in bank charges (10€ for EU nationals).

Refunds will only be made by bank transfer.

No refund is available after the course start date (Monday if you have booked a course, Sunday if you have booked a course and accommodation with ACCORD).

If ACCORD has to cancel a course, you will be refunded for the payment received in full.
5/Course interruption

Should a student decide to return home earlier and stop the course for reasons other than medical, no refund can be claimed from ACCORD Language School. In other cases, only the manager of ACCORD Language School can decide on course refunds or replacements.
Note: Language courses are not held and not refunded on national and local French holidays : July 14th and August 15th

6/Claims

All claims concerning the services of Forum Accord by way of ACCORD Language School must be made by recorded delivery to Forum ACCORD, 14 boulevard Poissonnière 75009 Paris, France, during the week following the end of the course. The "Tribunaux de Paris" will treat legal claims.

7/Behaviour

Should a student display any abnormal behaviour or bad intentions ACCORD reserves the right to exclude him or her from the school at any time, at his or her own expenses.

8/Insurance

ACCORD refuses all responsibility for thefts, damages or losses. Both parties agree that ACCORD will not be disturbed for those matters.
Before arriving in France you must verify your personal insurance. All students younger than 18 years of age must attach a copy of their insurance policy to their enrolment form. To those in need of insurance, ACCORD recommends an insurance company specialising in language courses abroad :

9/Personal expenses

We suggest students get travellers cheques. On arrival, the students will give their pocket money or travellers cheques to the tour leaders who will keep it safe and give it back weekly to the students. Parents may also transfer the pocket money to our bank giving us exact instructions on how they wish us to give it to their child.

10/Use of photographic material

ACCORD may take photographs of students in order to illustrate its brochure and websites. Should the participant disagree he/she or his/her parents must state this refusal in writing on the registration form.

11/Deposit

A deposit of 100 euros will be charged and has to be paid with the price of the stay booked. This deposit will be returned to the student on departure provided there hasn't been any damage done in the room and the key is handed back. This deposit may also be used to cover medical or pharmaceutical expenses, transfer for medical reasons, etc.

12/Methods of payment

Your payment must be made in euros. You may pay by :
Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Eurocard)
Cheque or Euro-cheque to Forum ACCORD
Bank transfer : Please add 50 Euros to cover bank charges (10 euros for EU citizens).

To organise payment by bank transfer, ACCORD Language School will send you an invoice including all necessary bank details.

*Please note : no matter which payment method you choose, do not forget to mention the name of the teenager registered, the dates of the stays as well as the school's invoice number!
